The German-based firm, which owns the manufacturers Nivea, Eucerin and La Prairie, has partnered with the AI enterprise Insilico Medication – which develops end-to-end drug discovery pipelines – to hold out computer-simulated pores and skin analysis. The duo will discover “novel, secure bioactive elements”, with Beiersdorf aiming to make use of the findings as a foundation for eventual skincare product improvement.
